Sin & Swoon

sin and swoon

Sin & Swoon are Michael James O’Brien and Michelle Tompkins of Montreal. Each songwriters in their own right, together they create a sound that can only be described as classic harmony style. Singing for almost a decade, their harmonies are effortless and instinctive, their songs a fine balance of humour, sorrow, and a distinct observation of the everyday. Influenced by groups like The Delmore Brothers and The Louvin Brothers, Gram Parsons and Emmylou Harris, they share a great love and respect for all the greats of duet style singing. In 2015 they released their first album “Did I Turn the Oven Off,” and they are currently working on their second record. Listen to their first album here.
