Described by Tom Power as “proof that some of the best country-folk songs being written are being written in Montreal.”, Saving Country Music Album of the Year nominees El Coyote have been called a Nashville-meets-Canadiana alt-county gem. Fans of the Trio recordings of Dolly, Emmylou and Linda will fall for the Montreal-based group’s exceptional songwriting, effortless harmonies, and soulful guitar and dobro. Members include Michelle Tompkins, Katie Moore, Angela Desveaux, Andrew Horton (bass), Mike O’Brien (guitar), Joe Grass (dobro, pedal steel, mandolin) and David Payant (drums).
